June 14, 2022, Ningbo, China-Solis, one of the world's largest and most experienced string inverter manufacturers, displayed the company's latestsolar inverters and solutions to the Spanish market during Genera 2022 in Madrid, Spain.

Genera (The international energy and environment trade fair) is Spain's largest and most influential energy and environmental fair, organized by IFEMA in association with IDAE. Since its inception in 2003, the fair has been supported by government agencies and enjoys an important place on the international energy calendar. 2022, marks the 25th successful edition of Genera. Like many fairs this current event was postponed due to Covid-19 but despite this exhibitors are enthusiastic about the show. The exhibition attracted over 200 exhibitors and more than 20,000 professional visitors from 54 countries.

The annual installed solar capacity in Spain is expected to reach around 4.4GW in 2022, of which 240MW, 940MW and 3.2GW will come from residential, C&I and utility segments, respectively. Solis exhibited its new 6th generation inverters,S6-GR1P(2.5-6)K and S6-EH1P(3-6)K-L, as well as highly successful products S5-GC(50-70)K and S5-GC(100-110)K for C&I use.

Energy storage is an ideal solution to help compensate for an unstable power grid as well as protection from ever increasing energy prices. The new and improved S6-EH1P(3-6)K-L low-voltage energy storage inverter received high praise from customers at its debut at Intersolar Munich in May.

Designed perfectly for residential rooftop installations with multiple array orientations and compatible with high-power solar panels. The 6kW backup power supports more critical loads and has an impressive switching time of less than 10ms. Compatible with multiple globally recognized battery brands giving customers optimum choice. It is integrated with multiple protection and fault monitoring systems to ensure safe running of the system and giving ultimate peace of mind to homeowners.

Giovanni Buogo, Solis' Western Europe Sales Director, said “To reach the government's target of a total PV capacity of 39.2 GW in 2030, Spain must install an annual PV capacity of about 3 GW. Development within the C&I sector will be vital to achieve this target. Based on PPA pipelines, Spain looks set to achieve this with over 3.5GW each year between 2022 and 2026. Solis not only provides customers with excellent residential and C&I solutions, we are also committed to ongoing product innovation and improvement.”
